The southwest region, where Puerto de Andratx is located, is the most expensive in Mallorca. Puerto de Andratx, on the other hand, is a very valuable region in itself. Thus the average villa sales prices in Puerto de Andratx in the years 2015 to 2018 were on average 20% higher than in the southwest.

The property market in the southwest had the second-largest volume on the island with transactions worth over 900 million euros – beaten only by the capital Palma (and less than half of the properties sold). In the years 2014 to 2017, the volume grew steadily by an average of 27% annually.
