Höchste Quadratmeter- und Villenpreise

The southwest region, where Puerto de Andratx is located, is the most expensive in Mallorca. Puerto de Andratx, on the other hand, is a very valuable region in itself. Thus the average villa sales prices in Puerto de Andratx in the years 2015 to 2018 were on average 20% higher than in the southwest.

Höchste Transaktionsvolumen

The property market in the southwest had the second-largest volume on the island with transactions worth over 900 million euros – beaten only by the capital Palma (and less than half of the properties sold). In the years 2014 to 2017, the volume grew steadily by an average of 27% annually.

What the experts say

A positive price development is considered likely:

“I am confident that Andratx will maintain its leading position in 2019.”

The rise in demand is attributable to a new group of buyers – the capital investors:

“In contrast to other European top locations, Mallorca still offers moderate entry prices, which suggest a positive performance.”

Location, location, location and new buildings are decisive for prices:

“There are stories of buyers who have bought a house here for several millions, only to demolish it and replace it with a new one. Money doesn’t play the main role, it’s all about the location.”

Majorca and the Balearic Islands: A prosperous and attractive region

The Balearic Islands economy has the highest growth rates in Spain, and not only in the tourism sector.

The road network in Mallorca is very well developed. For the 45km from the airport to Valleluz, one rarely needs more than half an hour by car.

The airport Son San Juan near Palma is the third largest in Spain and offers the best connections. Even from Northern Europe Mallorca can be reached in about three hours.

Mallorca has an excellent education and health system, with several international schools and renowned medical specialists from all over Europe who live and work on the island.

The most liveable city in the world is not Copenhagen, Toronto or Melbourne: No, it is Palma de Mallorca – as a ranking of the venerable THE SUNDAY TIMES says.

The luxury market is growing continuously, for example the number of private flights or berths for super yachts. It is no coincidence that Europe's most powerful yacht crane (1,000t) is located in the port of Palma.

...and last but not least the often praised, pleasant climate: enjoy 300 sunny days a year and a temperature that rarely falls below 12°C
